Data Processing Agreement

This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") applies where a business ("you") uses CleanQuote AI to process personal data relating to its own customers. It supplements our Terms of Service.

You are the data controller of your customers’ personal data. CleanQuote AI acts as the data processor and processes that data on your behalf and on your documented instructions.

We process customer personal data (such as names, contact details, and job information) only to provide and support the Service — for example, to generate quotes and invoices and to send emails you initiate.

You authorize us to engage subprocessors to deliver the Service, including Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), our AI provider (quote generation), and our hosting/database provider. We remain responsible for their compliance with this DPA.

We maintain the technical and organizational measures described in our Security & Data Handling Policy.

We will provide reasonable assistance to help you respond to requests from your customers to access, correct, or delete their personal data.

We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your customers’ data.

Where personal data is transferred across borders, we and our subprocessors rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

On termination of your account, we will delete or return your customers’ personal data on request, unless retention is required by law.
